New artists on the Road to Eurovision 2025 (Montenegro and Czechia)

It’s not even 2025 yet, and the Eurovision excitement is already in full swing! With three artists announced and one song unveiled, the anticipation is building fast. Today, we’re diving into the latest buzz around Montenegro and Czechia’s representatives. Let’s meet the stars ready to take the Eurovision stage!

Meet Nina Žižić
Nina Žižić will represent Montenegro with her song “Dobrodošli” (=Welcome). Her journey to Eurovision this year was nothing short of dramatic. Initially coming second in the national selection, Montesong, with 19 points, Nina found herself unexpectedly in the spotlight after the winning act, Neonoen, voluntary withdrew from the competition. RTCG, Montenegro’s national broadcaster, awarded Nina the golden ticket to Eurovision.

Nina’s no stranger to the Eurovision stage. Back in 2013, she teamed up with Who See to perform “Igranka” in Malmö. Though they didn’t make it to the final, Nina’s fiery performance left a lasting impression. Since then, her career has flourished. A member of the group Negre in 2004, and a jury member for Montesong in 2021, Nina’s versatility and experience make her a formidable contender.

Her Eurovision entry, “Dobrodošli” is a stirring ballad that highlights her extraordinary vocal talent. It’s a song that promises to captivate the hearts of Europe. Good luck Nina, and see you in Basel!

Meet ADONXS
Say hello to ADONXS, the artist set to represent Czechia! The 29-year-old singer, whose real name is Adam Pavlovčin, is no newcomer to the spotlight. Since winning SuperStar Czech-Slovakia (the Czech-Slovak version of Idol) in 2021, ADONXS has been making waves in the music scene. His 2022 debut album, ‘Age of ADONXS’, showcased his artistic vision and cemented his status as a rising star. Based in Prague, ADONXS has been celebrated for his bold and innovative style.

Czechia’s Eurovision representative was chosen through an internal selection process featuring a 10-member international jury. The panel included music producers, composers, and past Eurovision contestants, ensuring a choice that reflects both artistic excellence and Eurovision’s unique flair.

While ADONXS’s Eurovision song hasn’t been released yet, he’s teased that it will be “uncompromising, cheeky, sometimes cinematic, and with room for dancing.” If that’s not enough to spark your curiosity, we don’t know what will! With his magnetic stage presence, we are sure that ADONXS will bring something unforgettable to the Eurovision stage.
Czechia, we can’t wait to see what you have in store!
