Iceland: Vaeb – ‘Roa’
The brothers Væb won Iceland’s national final Söngvakeppnin 2025 and will represent the country in Basel! They won both the jury’s and public’s hearts with their song ‘Roa’ (translating to row). The song reached number one in Iceland!
Væb are an electro pop duo, made of Hálfdán Helgi and Matthías Davíð. They released their debut album in 2024. They previously participated in Söngvakeppnin 2024 with their song ‘Biomynd’ , finishing 4th. However their song ended up to be the most popular in the competition and reached the Icelandic top 10.
Australia: Go-Jo – ‘Milkshake Man’
‘Milkshake man’ by Go-Jo is the Australian song for Eurovision 2025! Go-Jo is the music project of the artist Marty Zambotto, who is based in Sydney. He is a viral sensation on social media and his songs received millions of streams! Particularly in 2023 he was the 9th most streamed Australian artist in the whole world! He also toured across Australia, Europe, US and Southeast Asia. So basically everywhere!
The song ‘Milkshake man’ has been selected internally. It is a synthpop song with the aim to encourage people to embrace the loudest and proudest version of themselves and feel confident! We can’t wait to see what he will bring on stage!
Germany: Abor & Tynna – ‘Baller’
Abor & Tynna won the German national final Chefsache ESC 2025 and will represent Germany in Basel with their song ‘Baller’. They came first out of 5 acts in the super final, winning the public vote.
This is the second set of siblings in this year’s contest! Abor & Tynna is the Austrian music duo consisting of the siblings Attila and Tünde Bornemisza. Their sound is characterised by pop, hip-hop and electronic music elements. They just released the debut album. Their song ‘Baller’ has reached number 13 on German single charts and it is the first song written entirely in German to represent the country since 2007! We wish them Good Luck!!
