Albania: Alis – “Nân”
Alis has won the Albanian national selection Festivali i Këngës and will represent Albania in the 70th Eurovision Song Contest with his song “Nân” (meaning Mother). He achieved a convincing victory, winning both the jury and the public vote.
Who is Alis?
Alis Kallaci, known professionally as Alis, is an Albanian singer and songwriter. He rose to national fame in 2024 after winning the fifth season of Albanian X Factor. This is not his first appearance at Festivali i Këngës — last year he competed with the song “Mjegull”, finishing in third place.
The song “Nân” is written and performed in Albanian. According to Alis, it is “a ballad for awaiting mothers, for children who leave, and for an eternal love that exists beyond time and distance.” A deeply emotional entry, the song focuses on universal themes of love, separation, and family bonds.
Montenegro: Tamara Živković – “Nova zora”
Tamara Živković won Montesong 2025 with her song “Nova zora” (meaning New Dawn), earning the ticket to represent Montenegro in Vienna.
Who is Tamara?
Tamara is a Montenegrin singer and flutist whose passion for music began at a very young age. She gave her first solo concert at just 14 years old, combining flute performance with vocals. She later pursued her musical education at the University of Arts in Belgrade, where she is currently a third year student.
Tamara also competed in Montesong last year with the song “Poguban let”, where she finished 9th. This year, she returned stronger than ever — winning the jury vote and placing second with the public, securing her overall victory.
