Ukraine
Ukraine has chosen its Eurovision 2026 representative! Leléka won Vidbir 2026 and will head to Vienna with the song “Ridnym” (“To Loved Ones”). Even more impressively, the song was the clear favourite — winning both the jury vote and the public televote. A strong start for Ukraine’s Eurovision journey this year!
Who is Leléka?
Viktoriia Leleka, known professionally as Leléka, is a Ukrainian artist currently based in Berlin. She is the founder and lead vocalist of the folk-jazz band Leléka, which she formed in 2016.
With the band, she has performed at numerous festivals — including the legendary Glastonbury Festival — and has received several awards for young musicians.
In 2024, she launched a new creative chapter with her art-pop and electronic music project Donbasgrl, debuting with the single “Zbroia”.
Denmark
Denmark has also made its choice! Søren Torpegaard Lund will represent the country with the song “Før vi går hjem” (“Before We Go Home”).
He secured the ticket to Eurovision by winning Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2026, topping both the jury vote and the televote — always a great sign of strong support.
Who is Søren Torpegaard Lund?
Søren began his musical journey at a young age, studying theatre, dance, and music before continuing his training at the Danish National School of Performing Arts.
He has performed in various musical theatre productions, building a solid stage presence — something that often helps at Eurovision.
Interestingly, this isn’t his first attempt. In Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023, he competed with the song “Lige her”, although it didn’t make the top three. Later that year, he released his first self-written single, “Stor kunst”.
In October 2024, he released his debut EP Øjesten — and now, he’s ready for the Eurovision stage.
