New Artists (San Marino, Sweden, Armenia)

More countries have now confirmed their representatives for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, and the latest announcements bring a mix of familiar faces, rising stars and intriguing performances.

San Marino welcomes back a Eurovision favourite, Sweden sends a mysterious masked pop singer, and Armenia introduces a performer already known to Eurovision fans.

Let’s meet the artists heading to Vienna.

San Marino

A Eurovision icon is returning! Senhit is coming back with San Marino, after winning the San Marino Song Contest with her song ‘Superstar’.

The disco-inspired song already has fans talking because it includes uncredited vocals from the legendary British singer Boy George. While he didn’t appear on stage during the national final, he featured on the visuals during the performance — and he has since confirmed that he plans to appear at Eurovision itself.

Who is Senhit?

For those who don’t know her, this will be the fourth time Senhit is representing San Marino. She first represented the country in 2011 with ‘Stand By’, then in 2020 with ‘Freaky!’ (but the contest was cancelled due to the pandemic), and in 2021 with ‘Adrenalina’, featuring the rapper Flo Rida.

Born and raised in Bologna, Senhit began her career performing internationally in musicals such as Fame, The Lion King, and Hair. She later returned to Italy and released her self-titled debut album in 2006, followed by several more albums and singles over the years. Her career has been marked by bold visuals, glamorous performances and infectious dance tracks.

‘Superstar’ is a disco anthem full of dance energy and feel-good vibes.

Sweden

Felicia Eriksson won Meltodifestivalen 2026 with the song ‘My system’, finishing first from both public and jury.

The song has already made a big impact, reaching number one on the Swedish charts. It also set a new Melodifestivalen record for the most foreign songwriters on a single entry, highlighting its strong international pop production.

Who is Felicia?

Felicia Eriksson first became known as the original singer behind the Swedish music project Fröken Snusk. She competed in Melodifestivalen 2024 with the song Unga & fria.”

In 2025, she was replaced in the project and decided to launch a solo career. Her debut solo single “Black Widow” was released later that year. Since May 2025, Felicia has performed wearing a mask, explaining that it helps her cope with social anxiety while still allowing her to perform on stage.

Now, the masked pop star is heading to Eurovision — and fans are already curious about how her mysterious stage persona will translate to the Vienna stage.

Armenia

Armenia has internally selected Simón to represent the country at Eurovision 2026 with the song Paloma Rumba.”

Who is Simón?

Eurovision fans may already recognise Simon from Depi Evratesil in 2025, when he competed with the song Ay Paparey Bye.” Although he won both the Armenian jury vote and the international jury vote, he finished second overall, behind Parg.

Beyond singing, Simón is also known as one of Armenia’s most prominent dancers. He has performed at Coba Yerevan, a well-known dinner show and nightclub venue in the Armenian capital.

With his strong dance background and energetic style, Simón is expected to bring a dynamic and visually striking performance to the Eurovision stage.
