The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 lineup is finally complete! Let’s meet the final artists joining Eurovision 2026.
Portugal
Portugal has selected Bandidos do Cante to represent the country at Eurovision 2026 with their song “Rosa.”
The group won Festival da Canção after topping the public vote and finishing second with the jury. They were also one of the few finalists who openly said they would go to Eurovision if they won — and now they’re ready to bring their unique sound to Vienna.
Who are Bandidos do Cante?
Bandidos do Cante are a 5-member Portuguese group from Beja, made up of Miguel Costa, Duarte Farias, Francisco Raposo, Luís Aleixo and Francisco Pestana. Formed in 2022, they were originally known as Amigos do Alentejo.
They are known for their unique music style, which is a fusion of Cante Alentejano with contemporary pop sounds. Cante Alentejano is a traditional Portuguese music genre originating from the Alentejo region and is famous for its powerful group singing performed without instruments.
They released their first single ‘Amigos Coloridos’ in 2024 and they quickly gained attention in the Portugese music scene. In 2025, they were nominated for Breakthrough Artist at the Portuguese Music Play Awards. In January 2026, they released their first studio album Bairro das Flores.
With “Rosa,” Portugal will bring a beautiful mix of tradition and modern sound to the Eurovision stage.
Poland
Poland has chosen Alicja Szemplińska to represent the country at Eurovision 2026 with the song ‘Pray’. She won the Polish national selection Finał krajowych kwalifikacji, where the winner was decided exclusively by a public vote.
Who is Alicjia?
Eurovision fans may already know Alicja- this is not her first Eurovision journey. She originally won Poland’s national final in 2020 with the song ‘Empires’, but unfortunately the contest didn’t go ahead due to the pandemic. She later returned to Poland’s selection in 2023 with her song ‘New Home’.
Alicja first rose to national fame after winning season 10 of The Voice of Poland in 2019. Since then, she has built a strong music career. She has released a studio album and several singles. Her music blends R&B and soul influences, showcasing her distinctive and emotional voice. Currently Alicja is also working on her first English-language album, marking an exciting step towards an international audience.
“Pray” is a deeply personal song about the journey of an artist chasing their dreams. It explores themes of faith, perseverance and believing in yourself, capturing the feeling of hoping and “praying” for those dreams to become reality.
