National selections are lighting up TV screens across the continent (and beyond), and every week (more like every day), new artists and songs are joining the party. Today, we’re turning the spotlight on three countries: Greece, France and Slovenia!
Greece: Klavdia
Greece has spoken, and they’ve chosen Klavdia to represent them at Eurovision 2025! She was crowned the winner of Ethnikos Telikos, winning hearts with her song “Asteromata” (meaning Starry-Eyed). She dominated the public vote and Greek jury, while placing third with the international jury.
Klavdia first captured the nation’s attention as a finalist on The Voice of Greece and has been unstoppable ever since. Signed to Panik Records, she’s released many hits, dropped an EP, and even performed alongside Greek superstar Konstantinos Argyros at the MAD Video Music Awards.
Her song Asteromata is a heartfelt Greek folk ballad, carrying a message of hope and resilience as it reflects on the struggles of losing one’s homeland. Co-written by Klavdia and the talented Arcade, this entry promises to touch hearts not just in Greece but across Europe.

France: Louane
Louane will represent France in Basel! Louane is a famous artist in France, rising to fame on The Voice in 2013. With over 3 million albums sold, sold-out tours across Europe, and a César Award for her role in the film ‘La Famille Bélier’, Louane is a multi-talented superstar.
Though her Eurovision song hasn’t been released yet, expectations are sky-high. Will it be a French chanson, a modern banger, or something entirely unexpected? We will find out soon!

Slovenia: Klemen Slakonja
From Slovenia, we have Klemen Slakonja, a man of many talents and a familiar face to EMA fans. Not only did he win this year’s national selection, but he’s also hosted the show four times!
Klemen’s song, “How Much Time Do We Have Left,” is a powerful pop ballad inspired by his wife’s battle with cancer—a journey that thankfully ended in recovery. The raw emotion in this song has won the audience and was crowned the winning song of EMA 2025.
Beyond his music, Klemen is a beloved actor, comedian, and TV host in Slovenia, so you can expect him to bring both charisma and authenticity to the Eurovision stage. This could be one of those rare entries that makes us laugh, cry, and cheer—all in three minutes.

The road to Basel is full of surprises, so stay tuned as more songs are revealed and the hype builds.
