Another week, another artist article! Today we are diving into the worlds of Latvia, Poland and Estonia. Let’s go!
Latvia: Tautumeitas – ‘Bur man laimi’
The Latvian group Tautumeitas will wave the Latvian flag in Basel and will perform the song ‘Bur man laimi’ (which translates to Bring Me Happiness). They won Latvia’s national selection Supernova 2025, after securing 3rd place with the jury and 2nd with the public televote.
Who are Tautumeitas?
Formed in 2015, Tautumeitas are a six-member Latvian folk/world music group known for their ethereal harmonies and modern beats combined with traditional melodies. They have already built an impressive career, releasing four albums and redefining Latvian folk music for a new generation.
But it’s not just their music that stands out—their stunning traditional costumes, and unique stage presence make them unforgettable performers. ‘Bur man laimi’ is a folk song, marking a historic moment as the first Latvian-language Eurovision entry since 2004. Could this magical fusion of past and present bring Latvia its best result in years?

Poland: Justyna Steczkowska – ‘Gaja’
Justyna Steczkowska won the Polish national selection Wielki finał polskich kwalifikacji 2025 and will represent Poland in Basel with the song ‘Gaja’. She was the clear winner to people’s hearts, securing 39.32% of the public votes.
Who is Justyna?
Justyna is a Polish singer, songwriter, actress and a Eurovision alumni, as she represented Poland in 1995 with her song ‘Sama’. Fast forward three decades, and she holds the record for the longest gap between Eurovision appearances, proving that legends never fade—they just come back stronger.
Her song ‘Gaja‘, named after Gaia, the Greek goddess of Earth, is a mystical and powerful entry. Written by Justyna herself, it’s part of her 19th studio album, ‘Witch Tarohoro’. We wish Justyna and Poland good luck!

Estonia: Tommy Cash – ‘Espresso Macchiato’
Estonia is turning up the heat at Eurovision 2025 with none other than Tommy Cash, the country’s most eccentric and boundary-pushing artist. He stormed Eesti Laul 2025, securing first place with both the jury and the public. With his song ‘Espresso Macchiato’, he’s bringing something truly unique (and caffeinated) to Basel!
Who is Tommy Cash?
Born in Tallinn, Estonia, Tommy Cash is a rapper and visual artist, known for his surreal music videos, avant-garde fashion, and genre-blending sound. Over the years, he has gained international recognition for his experimental approach to hip-hop, blending elements of electronic music, rap, and post-Soviet aesthetics. Now, he’s taking his wild creativity (and his love of coffee) to the Eurovision stage.
Written by Tommy Cash and Johannes Naukkarinen, Espresso Macchiato is a dance-pop track infused with electro swing and rap flow, making it one of the most unusual entries Estonia has ever sent. The lyrics are in Broccolino, a linguistic variety spoken by Italian Americans in Brooklyn, NY. Will Tommy Cash stormed Eurovision 2025 like he did in Eesti Laul?
