The Eurovision buzz is heating up as two more countries have unveiled their representatives for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest! Let’s dive into the exciting worlds of Claude from the Netherlands and Shkodra Elektronike from Albania.
Netherlands: Claude
After receiving 331 entries, Dutch broadcaster AVOTROS has chosen Claude to represent the country in Eurovision 2025. He was selected internally by a selection committee.
Who is Claude?
Claude Kiambe is a 21 year old artist originally from Congo but moved to the Netherlands at just 9 years. His breakout singles—”Ladada (Mon Dernier Mot)”, “Layla“, and “Ecoutez-moi“—have earned him a spot on the Dutch music map, with “Ladada” reacing over 57 million streams. Yes, you read that right—57 million!

In 2024, Claude dropped his debut album, Parler Français, and toured across the Netherlands and Belgium. He is very excited to represent Netherlands in Eurovision as he is a Eurovision fan since childhood. His song will be released at a later date.
Albania: Shkodra Elektronike
Over in Albania, the 63rd Festivali i Këngës has crowned its champion: the dynamic duo Shkodra Elektronike, who will represent their country with their song “Zjerm” (=Fire).
Who are they?
Hailing from the Shkoder region in northern Albania (hence the name), this duo combines the best of tradition and innovation. Kolë Laca and Beatriçe Gjergji formed the group in 2019 and have been turning heads ever since with their unique folktronica style. Think traditional Albanian sounds with a contemporary electronic twist—pure magic!
They gained popularity in 2020 with the release of successful singles “Ku e Gjeta Vedin” and “Synin si Qershia” . In 2022 they released their debut EP called Live @ Uzina.
Their Eurovision entry, “Zjerm“, is an anthem for peace and resilience, blending powerful lyrics about inner calm with an energetic, modern sound. The duo describes it as “an Albanian song with a modern touch.” Get ready to dance, cry, and feel all the feels with this one!
